The First (of Many) Milestones Met

No one knows better than the hospitals that deliver them – and the parents who love them – the fight for life a pre-term infant must undergo to make that highly anticipated trip home. Graduation from the neonatal intensive care unit to an infant seat in the back of their parents’ car is a moment worth celebrating!

Meet Our Founder - Alexis

As an impassioned NICU RN/BSN, Alexis has witnessed the tearful journeys of countless families and their preemies firsthand. Beyond providing clinical guidance and emotional support to the families she serves, as days turn into weeks and weeks turn into months for some, she felt compelled to do more.

Every NICUGRAD deserves to be celebrated in a magnificent way!
— ALEXIS

She wanted to find a way to illuminate the “light at the end of the tunnel” that they had been hoping and praying for… and that’s how NICUGRAD was born.

Her greatest wish is that, for each family who receives a NICUGRAD set, placing a cap atop their babies’ heads and a gown around their sweet little frames is a memorable part of the healing process. It marks the battle their little warrior has overcome and the first (of many) milestones they will meet as they shift from survive to THRIVE. Alexis and the dedicated team behind her are fully invested in celebrating every NICUGRAD.
